Free lunch



The nutrition services department of Baldwin Park Unified has a set mission to ensure that all of the students within the district are provided well-balanced nutritious meals that will help contribute to a student’s learning experience and is nutritionally equipped to learn, to participate in curricular and extra-curricular activities, and to maximize the benefits of the educational process. The Nutrition services department participates in the National School Lunch, National School Breakfast Program, and new this school year the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which is governed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The district follows the food-based menu planning approach for breakfast, lunch and supper. Lunch consists of five food groups which are meat/meat alternate, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and milk.




El Departamento de servicios de nutrición del Distrito Unificado de Baldwin Park tiene como misión asegurar que todos los estudiantes dentro del distrito son proveídos comidas equilibradas nutritivas que ayudaran a contribuir al aprendizaje de los estudiantes y estarán nutricionalmente equipados para aprender, participar en las actividades curriculares y extracurriculares y para maximizar los beneficios del proceso educativo. El Departamento de servicios de nutrición participa en el Programa de Almuerzo Escolar Nacional y el Programa de Desayuno Escolar Nacional y nuevo este año escolar el Programa de Alimentos y Cuidado de Niño y Adultos (CACFP) que se rige por el Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos (USDA). El distrito sigue planificación de menú basado en comida para desayuno, almuerzo y cena. El almuerzo consiste de cinco grupos de alimentos que son la carne/alternativos a la carne, granos enteros, frutas, verduras y leche.

We have many opportunities for parents to get involved in their child's education. We look forward to seeing you here at the school.

Flag Assemblies
We have our Flag Assemblies on the first Wednesday of every month. All parents are welcome to join us as we come together as a school to celebrate student success and demonstrate school spirit.

Basic Computer Classes

Sheperd's Pantry
They provide emergency food, clothing, resource assistance and educational programs to families in need during times of crisis. You can contact them at Their address is 657 E. Arrow Highway, Suite J., Glendora, CA 91740. You can also leave them a message at 626-852-7630. If you are able to donate food, clothes, etc., they welcome donations too.

We can always use help at the school. We need help with the Drop Off Zone, library and in classrooms. Also, please take a
 look at our monthly calendar to see activities we have planned. We need a lot of parent support for these events. Without parents' help, we will not be able to do all the fun-filled activities students look forward to. Library Books
Parents, please speak to your children regarding the use of classroom and library books. Many books are being returned damaged by water, scribbles, ripped, etc.

Khan Academy: Your  child can use this website to get math help.

Box Tops
Make sure you send your Box Tops to school. The more we get, the more money we earn for the school. Thank you!
